At last - IRELAND finally gets its first-sever RED-FLANKED BLUETAIL

Brendan Finch discovered a RED-FLANKED BLUETAIL on Dursey Island (County Cork) this afternoon, the bird feeding out in the open and away from trees. It representys the long-awaited first record for IRELAND.

In contrast, Britain has now recorded a mere 66 individuals !!
