rehabilitated GYRFALCON released

This beautiful and very rare and majestic creature was released at Castlemaine Harbour on the Dingle Peninsular (County Kerry) on Sunday morning (7 December). Unfortunately, the bird was very reluctant to fly and landed on the ground. Sadly, it was recaptured and taken back into care. The event was witnessed by around 50 birders.
